WHAT'S IN YOUR HOUSE?

Updated: Jul 25, 2019

Hello Ladies this Particular post will be very transparent. So relax , kick off your shoes , stretch out on your couch and lets just have a ladies chat.

Do you ever feel as though the vision that God has shown to you appears to be improbable? Initially you are enthusiastic but then you begin to put on your logical hat and attempt to figure out how God’s plan will be executed. The more you begin to contemplate, your mind becomes an enemy against your destiny. It's as though God is displaying to you all the great plans he has in store for you, but it's almost too inconceivable to receive.

If you have the same doubts and emotions I understand and it's okay. Anytime God reveals pieces of your purpose expect it to be unimaginable because we are dealing with a God that can do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20)

So many times we stay concentrating on our current predicament that it clouds our perception and hinders our faith. Then we began to state negative things such as “I can't financially afford to start a business.”, “ I am not qualified for that position.”, “What happens if people don't accept me?”, “What happens if I experience rejection?” “What happens if the whole plan just fails?”

If God has presented the vision to you then he will fully execute it to the end. So STOP attempting to create excuses for why you can't take that leap of faith. If God has called you to start that business, youtube channel, ministry, online store whatever idea it maybe he will give you the resources necessary to follow through. Remember when you are pressing into God’s word and prioritizing him as the head of your life everything you need will find you.

In 1kings 17:7-16 elijah and the widow’s paths crossed and he asked her for water and bread. The widows response to elijah was that she did not have bread in her house but only flour in a jar and cooking oil in the bottom of the jug and she was going to cook a last meal and her and her son would be left to die. However elijah then told her make a little bread and there should still be enough to make the last meal. He then spoke a word to her from the Lord, “There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the Lord sends rain and the crops grow again!” Her family ate for many days and there was enough flour and cooking oil.

I share this story because the widow looked at her situation from a deadly perspective. Even though there were items in her home she put a limit on them. The Lord end up multiplying what she had to the point she had an abundance of flour and oil. I emphasize this story to say to start being attentive to what God has already placed in your home and pray he multiplies it so you can flourish in the purpose he has assigned.

Some of you are positioned in situations where God is pushing you to walk in faith but you are hindered because you keep focusing on all the things you do not possess. Actually the resources you need are accessible to you already. God is just telling you to begin utilizing them and watch everything you touch flourish.

My prayer for you is that you stop viewing aspects of your life through a negative lens and abide in faith knowing prosperity is about to land on the vision God entrusted upon you. I pray God will open your eyes to see what you have in your house.I pray every thought of doubt and fear will be removed from your mind.Remember you got this sis! You can do all things through christ who strengthens you. (Phillipians 4:13)
